You can have any three cars in the world.
No budget. New or old. Sensible or completely unrealistic.
Daily driver, weekend toy, track weapon, off-roader, grand tourer… or something completely different.
What’s in your garage, and why did you choose those three?

This question came up during a recent evening with friends. My first two choices are fairly clear, but the third is still a battle between the heart and the head.
1. Lexus LFA
The easiest choice because it is my ultimate dream car. The sound, rarity and engineering make it incredibly special. Every time I think of the LFA, that final Fast Five scene with Han immediately comes to mind.
2. Latest-generation Range Rover
For long journeys, bad weather, everyday practicality and towing a project car to the track — all while still feeling special.
3. Mazda RX-8 Spirit R — or Honda Civic Type R
The RX-8 is the choice from the heart: rotary-powered, unusual and a car I already have a real connection with.
The Civic Type R is the choice from the head: practical, seriously capable and famous for what it can do around the Nürburgring despite being front-wheel drive.
So it is either:
Lexus LFA + Range Rover + Mazda RX-8 Spirit R
or:
Lexus LFA + Range Rover + Honda Civic Type R
RX-8 with the heart, Civic Type R with the head. I still cannot decide.
